Today has been a pretty good day. I was able to worship via my church's live stream this morning, which I am grateful for. Some of my teammates and I also talked over some Scripture after breakfast, and we discussed prophecy and prayed together. During the rest of the morning, we did more presentation practices, as well as discussions and meetings on team assignments. Preparing for 300+ attendees for a conference in another country brings various challenges but we are tackling and anticipating them!
We walked into the town of South San Francisco to get some lunch, which was fun. We got take-out from a Dumpling house in town. Yum. It was beautiful out, and it was nice to see more views beyond hotel lobby decor. ;) After lunch, Mr. Au, one of our team support leaders, lead a devotion around Zechariah 4:6. This verse reminded us that we go not by might or power but by His Spirit alone.
I am now sitting in the airport, and very tired. We've had a long day and my body is still in Eastern time. We will be getting to board at 9:30pm which is in about 15 minutes. 16 hours will be quite an experience. Don't expect a post for Monday as I will be time traveling. :) Maybe I'll write a catch-up post on Tuesday about the flight. We'll be arriving Tuesday morning Singapore time. I expect to crash from jet lag... we'll see. ;)
Please be especially in prayer for physical and emotional stamina for each of my teammates. Today has been a challenging day for a couple of my team members, which in turn brought challenges to our whole team. I am very thankful though that these challenges have brought us closer together and unified through prayer.
Love you all. I am increasingly grateful for all the support I have from you all back at home. <3
Much love <3
